What do you think of my project idea Gold Award?
I am a girl scout and I have been thinking of an idea of the project award gold and this is what I came up with. I have local community events such as concerts, bake sales, fundraisers, etc. to help raise money for aid packages would go to children who are battling cancer in the hospital. packages would go to a hospital specifically for children with cancer. What do you think of my idea? Do you think that people donate money to go into the packages? Also, do you have ideas on what to put on packages? Thanks:)
I think it's an idea for a big project. Perhaps to refocus on their way to get money for their project however. The Girl Scouts do not let people just give money, we can give gift cards and donations can be given in kind, but no money. Also you can not do a fundraiser (such as a bake sale), unless you have sold cookies and products fall. For my project, I went to stores in my city and told them what he was doing and asked if they could donate. Some stores and some stores could not. You really have to be persistent and you have to go to the beginning of the month because most stores (Wal-Mart, Costco, etc) can get so much money donate each month, so you want to hit right at the money donation. Have you talked to her advice about your idea yet? Have you gone to the Hospital children and told them about what you do?
