1. If I were a boy- Boys(not men) are not worthy. she is basically calling out the boys who treat women badly, and act irresponsible and careless. because they deserve to be called out,

2. Halo- she found the love of her life, and whenever theyre together it feels like heaven on earth

3. Disappear- she took a good man for granted and when she finally noticed how good of a person he was, he was already gone.

4. Broken-hearted Girl- She loves a man but at the same time doesnt want to open up to him for fear of being emotionally hurt.

5. Ave Maria- idk but she sung it at the rockerfeller tree lighting ceremony so i think its a christmas/holiday/love song.

6. Smash into you- she wants to finally let her guards down and be fully in love. she wants to dive in head first with no regrets

7. Satellites- her and her significant other are inseperable basically.

8. That's Why You're Beautiful- she cant explain why her man is beautiful, because there is no explanation for love. it just is.

9. Single Ladies (Put a ring on it)- she is telling a man that he shouldnt have taken her for granted. and now its too late, cuz she has moved on.

10. Radio- its actually about her loving her radio. lol whenever she says "him" in the song, she is referring to the radio/music.

11. Diva- "a diva is a female version of a hustla". she is calling herself a diva..since she IS, and has sold out stadiums and cds worldwide.

12. Sweet Dreams- "you can be a sweet dream or a beautiful nightmare..either way i dont wanna wake up from you" she is referring to how their relationship is a rollercoaster but she would never want to leave it

13. Video Phone- she meets a man. she likes him and he likes her, so they exchange info. and she poses for him on his video phone so he wont forget her. shes too sexy to forget

14. Hello- its like the saying "you had me at hello" basically. she fell in love when she first met the man, and he "stole her cool"

15. Ego- she is saying she has a big ego, and so does her man. they are both beautiful and confident, so they make a good match.

16. Scared of Lonely- shes ready to fall deep in love but is afraid that once she does she will be left. so she is telling the dude to make her feel comfortable because she is apprehensive about their relationship.

and choco is wrong, she doesnt need to lighten up. she is a very diverse artist who can be deep and show vocal range like alicia keys and fun as well, and still sell millions either way. her new album went platinum only 3 weeks after it came out. so i dont think she should change a thing.
