Dominick's, known as one of the better summer places in Ann Arbor, has an impressive outdoor patio to enjoy throughout the summer. All the neighbors Dominick's know that when opened, it's officially summer!
When you walk in the door, grab a picnic table in the yard and hop online with friends (Need an extra hand to carry food and drinks back). The menu is written on the walls as you wait in line, and every drink is served in giant jars or bottles. The staff is very fun, young and friendly, and this place is a total, no frills, hang out type bar. And the food is pretty great too. The best time to go the time at Dominick's is a sunny afternoon, as Dominick's is mostly a time and place later, closing at 10 pm.
If you're planning a trip Dominick's, the drink must have is their sangria. People from around the Ann Arbor area come to this area. Is quite strong, so you need some good friends to share. Another great option is the Buzz "Constant", fruity, delicious frozen concoction Dominick's summer is also known for.
Food wise, the pizza is always a great choice. It's super satisfying and enjoyable after a glass of sangria. They have a huge amount of options to choose from, you can build your own pizza with your favorite toppings, if desired. The pizzas are large enough to divide. Also try one of their pasta dishes, including ravioli even cheese and lobster ravioli.
The bottom line: The price here is pretty college / economy class. Each release in 10 or 20 dollars, you get drinks and a meal and leave satisfied feeling.
